Support Noah’s goal of performing with the Raiders!

My name is Noah, and I need help fundraising to march over the summer with the Raiders, a Drum Corps competing in the Open Class Division. DCI (Drum Corps International) organizes marching arts competitions at a high skill level for youth across the country. In a quote from the DCI website, Drum Corps International “[was formed] to organize and unify leadership for youth-focused competitive drum corps events throughout North America. Directors of those competing groups sought to unite their corps by providing opportunities to perform together—in the end building a foundation for future success.” Groups compete in these performances, and the groups are known as corps. The Raiders are a corps based out of New Jersey, who compete with other corps.

Over the summer, should I march with the Raiders, I will move into their rehearsing location for 3 weeks, where i’ll practice every day on our show to perform. This year the show’s theme is “Fan the Flame”. Every day food, water, instruction, care, a place to sleep, wash, practice, march, etc. will be provided. Following this training, the group will then go on a 3 week semi-national tour, touring through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana, where we will finally perform and compete in Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Indianapolis Colts. Throughout this tour we will perform various shows, practice, travel, sightsee, and many more fun activites.

I personally have a found love for marching arts recently, starting in 2022, marching with my high school band. I have learned so many things and met so many amazing people along the way. Performing music has enriched my life so much and I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had. Anything that you can donate helps, even just $10 will put me farther than you could know.
