Support Noah's Medical Journey with GBM (Glioblastoma)

Noah is my kind, curious, funny, and loving 8-year-old Godson. In November 2023, he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM), a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer that is inoperable.

Noah spends full time with his father, except for every other weekend during the school year and splits summers as well as major holiday breaks. It all started when Noah's father noticed him experiencing arm spasms and gradual difficulties that escalated into uncontrollable movements. Concerned, his father took him to the hospital, where doctors suspected a neurological issue. This marked the beginning of Noah’s medical journey. An MRI revealed a tumor that required biopsy, revealing the devastating diagnosis of Glioblastoma (GBM), the most challenging and difficult-to-treat malignant tumor.

These past months have been incredibly tough for Noah, his family, and his friends. He continues to show strength, bravery, and smiles as he continues this medical journey. Despite the challenges, Noah completed six weeks of daily radiation with remarkable courage and support from loved ones. Now, he is gearing up for a critical clinical trial in Southern California, offering hope for an extended life.

On behalf of the Tsehaye family and as Noah’s Godmother, I urge our community to pray for Noah's well-being. Your prayers, along with generous donations, will alleviate the financial burdens during this trying time. Funds raised will directly support Noah's father as his primary custodial parent, covering daily care, ongoing treatment needs, and associated financial challenges. Brhan has devoted himself as Noah's primary caregiver before and after his diagnosis. He recently hasn't been working to ensure immense flexibility to meet all of Noah's ongoing and unexpected needs - a significant sacrifice to ensure Noah is taken care of well. It will also be used for travel expenses for the Tsehaye family to support Noah through his extended medical journey. Brhan routinely drives back and forth from their home in the Central Valley to Noah’s grandparents' home in the Eastbay for medical appointments, school, and most importantly for Noah to be with his family and cousins - which brings him immense joy.
