Support Noelle After Traumatic Carjacking
Donation protected
Hi dog community and beyond! I'm setting up this GoFundMe in support of my friend Noelle, who experienced a traumatic carjacking. Noelle is one of my very first and dearest friends in the dog world. Anyone who knows her can testify to what a kind, selfless, hardworking person she is.
Last Saturday, Noelle was carjacked at gunpoint outside of her apartment building. She was coming home from the park with both of her dogs (Gatsby the poodle and Biggie the Cocker Spaniel) in the car with her. Thankfully, she was able to think quickly and escaped with both of her dogs unharmed.
However, the incident left her without her car, laptop, crash-tested dog crates, and many essential needs for her photography business. Beyond the financial loss, the experience has deeply shaken her sense of safety. The suspects are still at large, in possession of Noelle's house key, and have information containing her address. As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming situation and Noelle is urgently looking for a safer place to live so she can move on and find peace.
I'm hoping that this GoFundMe can assist her in replacing her stolen items that insurance will not cover (dog crates, roof rack, and many of her other items), cover her deductible on her car insurance and laptop insurance, and help assist her with the costs of moving to a new place as breaking her lease has proven to be financially difficult, and she wasn't expecting to have to cover the costs of moving so soon.
As a freelance photographer, Noelle is very dependent on her car and photography equipment to make a living. Because of this, she is unable to work until the case has settled and she is back with a car. If you are able to support Noelle in any way, whether by donating or sharing this campaign, it would mean so much and allow her to focus on healing and not the financial burden of what happened to her.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness!
