Support Noelle Parker's Long Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Hi there. My name is Kat and I am a friend of Noelle Parker. Some of you may know her as your friend, Noodle. Some of you may know her as an actress (TV/big screen and theater), or maybe you have leveled upped your craft with her through her acting workshops at the esteemed Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, NY. Some of you may know her as your pet sitter or dog walker. Some of you may know her as your gal Friday, others may know her as a volunteer bottle feeder for kittens with the local animal rescue ARF.

Noelle and I crossed paths because of our love for animals. I am a local dog walker and pet sitter here on the east end of Long Island, and I needed some help. A mutual friend gave me Noelle's contact information and the rest is history. She and I hit it off right away, and not only did we become a tag team pet-sitter and dog walking duo, but we also became fast friends. We felt like we'd known each other forever and our friendship grew in leaps and bounds in no time.

In recent years, Noelle has faced some serious health challenges. And I know that her friends and village came to her rescue a couple of years ago with a different GoFundMe fundraiser. How wonderful for you all to show up and support her! I know it was difficult for her to ask for help back then, because she is stubbornly and fiercely independent. But she caved and she got the help she needed from those who love her. She eventually got on her feet with the help of you all, and slowly entered back into the work world. When I met her, she was hungry for work and the fact that I had dog walks and pet sitting jobs for her was in her own words "A Godsend". Not only would she be able to make money and make her own hours as she continued to heal, but she was able to do it working with animals. Her client list grew slowly but surely, and she was well on her way to the independence that she longed for once again.

Obviously, one of her biggest loves in life are animals, especially those that need help. She thrived with being a voice for the voiceless. I share her same compassion and love for animals. That is one of the reasons we bonded so quickly.

Now I am here to be Noelle's voice. About 3 weeks ago, Noelle became very sick, very very quickly. And acute case of walking pneumonia became full blown pneumonia. Sepsis shock set in and turned her world upside down. She is still in the hospital in critical condition. She is stable but still considered critical. She has no family here but her friends have rallied near and far, sending good thoughts and wishes. And those that are local have been able to visit briefly to give her words of encouragement. I am happily looking after her little cottage and her cat Mewn. Everyone that I've spoken to of course sounds good wishes, but everybody also asks "Ehat can I do to help?"

The seriousness of her condition became evident very quickly. As the days have ticked by, it's become apparent that her recovery is going to be a very very long, slow process. She could be in the hospital for weeks or even months. And once she comes home (staying positive here saying when, not if) She will probably have to continue healing and resting for some time.

My concern for her at this point is that she does not feel the stress and pressure of having to go right back to work once she's out of the woods. I want her to feel that she can come home and be at peace and heal, without the worry of paying her rent, her groceries, food for her cat, her light and electric bill, her car insurance, etc.

So for those who have asked, "What can I do to help?" Here we are... The best way to help her right now is to donate to this GoFundMe. The goal that I placed on this GoFundMe is to reflect a couple of months of financial relief. I think she's going to need more, but this is a good place to start.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this. Noelle is loved very much by friends, framily and fans alike. I do realize that we all have our economic stresses, but if you can even donate a few dollars it'll all add up. And if you can't, please send prayers, good wishes, good vibes, good energy her way. I know she's feeling it all, and I know it's helping her everyday to get better and better.

Let's do this, for the love of Noodle ❤️
