Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,
My name is Noorline Zareh, I am 24 years old. I am overwhelmed by the love and support that surrounds me during this challenging chapter of my life. On June 7th, 2022, I received a life-altering diagnosis of stage 4 gastric signet ring cell adenocarcinoma, which set me on a path of resilience and strength. Since then, I have undergone multiple cycles of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and extensive surgical procedures, including a subtotal gastrectomy, peritonectomy, and bilateral ovary resection.
Before my diagnosis, I was a passionate occupational therapist, dedicating my life to helping others find hope and independence. My heart soared as I witnessed my patients' progress, but unfortunately, my condition hindered my ability to work on-site. Graduating just one month before my diagnosis, I faced the biggest challenge of my life right at the beginning of my career.
Throughout this tumultuous journey, I have faced numerous complications, each test pushing me to the limits of my determination. I have encountered ovarian torsion, endured the pain of gastric ulcer perforation, and confronted the hardships that come with chronic small bowel obstruction. These trials have left me unable to tolerate any food or drink, requiring me to depend on total parenteral nutrition (intravenous feeds) for sustenance.
As I stand at this crossroads, I know that my fight against cancer is far from over. The courage and determination to see brighter days keep me going, and I am committed to exploring further treatment options to overcome the odds. However, I cannot do this alone. This is where I seek your unwavering support and generous hearts to aid me in this journey to recovery.
I am asking for your financial assistance to help fund my ongoing medical expenses, which include further treatments, medications, and therapies. Your contributions will offer me a lifeline of hope and bring relief to my family, who have stood by my side throughout this ordeal, unwavering in their love and support.
I also want to share that anything beyond the goal we set will be donated to cancer research, as I firmly believe that together, we can contribute to finding a cure for this relentless disease. My dream is that one day, no one else will have to endure the pain and suffering that cancer brings into our lives.
Your help on this journey by making a donation, no matter how big or small, will be a beacon of light in my darkest moments, reminding me that there is a community of caring souls standing firmly behind me.
From the depths of my heart, I thank you for taking the time to read my story and considering supporting me in any way you can. Your kindness and generosity will forever be etched in my heart, and I promise to persevere every day to emerge stronger, healthier, and full of gratitude for the beautiful souls that surround me.
With love and hope,
