North Bridge Microschool offers a regulating and restorative learning space for K-6 children to experience the magic of a compassionate community, creative curiosity, and confident connections.
Learning should be sensitive, supportive, and regulating for the central nervous system of teachers, children, and families. The long term effects of stress on the central nervous system are detrimental to health and can lead to complex trauma. Our current public education system is in an unsustainable state of stress for both teachers and students as the demands continue to reach terrifying highs.
Learning should be available in a space where community, curiosity, creativity, and compassion are free to bloom. Learning should take place in a small group environment where the individual needs, interests, and strengths can be adequately met and nurtured, and also celebrated. Learning should be interconnected, engaging, and magical.
North Bridge Microschool will provide a nurturing platform for K-6 leaders in learning who are fueled by deep understanding of social emotional wellness and social justice advocacy. North Bridge Microschool supports K-6 students in the Longmont/Boulder area of Colorado.
