Support NSA's Service Trip to Colombian Orphanage

Hi, I'm Lina Zapata, a teacher at North Star Academy (NSA) a charter school in Newark, NJ. Since 2007, we've had the privilege of organizing international expeditions for a select group of students. A core aspect of these trips is our commitment to community service, aligning with one of our school mottos. Whether in small or significant ways, we aim to give back to communities globally.

This year, on May 26th, we're embarking on a journey to Colombia, South America. Partnering with an esteemed organization called HandsOn Colombia (https://handson.org.co/), we'll be visiting adolescents in an orphanage awaiting adoption. On our day of service, we plan to engage with the children in various activities (activity to be determined). We're reaching out for assistance in raising funds to support our efforts in giving back to the orphanage and providing for any essential needs they may have. Any contribution you can offer would be immensely appreciated.

Please rest assured that your donation will directly benefit the children in Colombia and not our students at North Star Academy.
