I am currently facing one of the most challenging times of my life. After recently battling lung cancer, I have now been diagnosed with stage 3 metastasized breast cancer. While I am grateful that Medicaid and Medicare are covering my medical treatments, the reality is that my Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) is not enough to cover my basic living expenses. Every month, I struggle to pay for rent, utilities, groceries, and other essentials.

Despite my best efforts, I do not qualify for additional public assistance, and the financial strain has become overwhelming. The stress of trying to keep a roof over my head and food on the table while focusing on my recovery is taking a toll on my well-being.
