Support Obie, Danielle, and OJ in Crisis

Hello family, friends, and community,

My name is Danielle, my husband is Obie, our son is OJ. As you know we are living in unprecedented times in our economy & unfortunately this has directly affected us. My husband was laid off w/o notice & despite our best efforts we were unable to pay rent last month. Since his layoff we have even sold our only means of transportation just to be able to make by & cover our other bills such as utilities etc. By the grace of God my husband has secured new employment which he started this week but, the realty company will not allow us more time. In just 4 short days we are facing our Eviction court date Monday April 7th, 2025.

We are currently residing in Mississippi where we moved just 8 months ago for the job that laid him off & have zero friends or family here. Should we be displaced we have no help , no recourse, or funds to pack & abruptly move.

Asking for help is so against my husband & my own nature because we never want to burden others but this is our last resort & we have to put our feelings aside for the needs of our son.
