Supporting Colleen Sicca. My Amazing Wife & Mother Of Three.

Thank you for stopping by to show your support of my angel and wife Colleen, who on January 19, 2025 at the age of 49 years old suffered a near life ending heart attack and since then advanced stage heart failure.

Since our first hello in middle school (married 30 years this year, 37 together now) Colleen has always put others before herself. She’s selflessly worked a full time career in the dental field while raising our three children (and myself at times she would say) often rising before 5am for work and ending her day at 10pm or later to help contribute and provide for her family.

On the 19th of January 2025 this all came to an end, and she has been in the cardiac ICU in Nashville, TN fighting for her life ever since, trying to overcome everything she’s being put through to get back to her family.
Although an avid hiker and outdoorsy type, Colleen was diagnosed with a vascular system and arteries that are significantly narrower (by a third) than what a normal person is born with, which we were unaware of as there were no symptoms.

This undiagnosed condition (since birth) paired with a misdiagnosed thyroid condition (Hashimoto's disease) combined with the side effects from the Moderna covid vaccine (encouraged through her employment) have put her now into advanced stage heart failure, which she’ll need a LVAD then eventual heart transplant to get back to a somewhat normal life, which could take years.

After a half dozen heart surgeries, a stroke and dozens of procedures over the last seven weeks, and currently now on kidney dialysis, Colleen now has the LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) pump in place to help her heart keep up, and will need a heart transplant when the time is right.

Again we thank you for your support of this wonderful woman who has been presented with so much over the last two months, but keeps standing back up to fight another day and return to her family. We sure do appreciate all of your love, prayers and support, and thank you for any contributions that you can make.
Thank you. - The Sicca Family
