Support of Wendy, Liam, & Chloe McDermott

It is with a heavy heart that we ask for your support.

Jamie McDermott passed away unexpectedly on December 26th, 2022, at the young age of 48. He leaves behind a devastated family, Wendy, his wife and partner of 25 years. Liam, a junior at Umass Lowell, and Chloe, a Senior at Billerica Memorial High School.

Jamie was a true light in this world and dedicated to his work at Emerson Hospital & Home Health Care and his Billerica community. He inspired and touched the lives of so many through the sheer joy he exuded in working with the youth of this town. Jamie volunteered countless hours and years coaching Billerica Youth Soccer and Basketball and building sets for the BMHS Visual & Performing Arts program.

Wendy, Liam, and Chloe have suffered a tremendous loss and are understandably shocked and unprepared for all that comes with it. Many people in the McDermotts life and community are looking for a way to support them.
