Support Ola's Journey to Safety

I’m Natalie Osborne, from New York , I'm organizing this campaign for my very close friend Ola in Gaza. Ola would like to share her story with you in her own words.

I'm Ola, I'm 28 years old and a mother of two kids, who were displaced from the North to the South and lost all sources of livelihood. At the moment, I'm living in fear of being displaced again without having any other shelter. I lost my beautiful house, and my husband lost his business.

My eldest daughter is Eman and she is 5 years old. My little son Adel is 4 years old.

It's hard for us to stay in tents with no break from the heat. It's hard for us to find food and clean water. Evacuate my family to safety from the war in Gaza and help me rebuild my home.

Travel costs from Gaza to Egypt :

- Crossing Egyptian borders: you have to pay (5,000-8,000$) for every Adult in the family and 2,500$ each for children

So, (2×8000$) =16,000$ , Considering current evacuation fees and coordination expenses at the Egyptian border

- Passport fees: 300$ totally (100$/person for 3 family members)

- GoFundMe Fee: 2,000$ (Approximately 2.9%+0.30$ for each donation, covering the platform’s fee).

- And some extra living costs for couple of months (Including apartment rent, clothes , food , etc)

The total is approximately : 20,000$

PS: I have appointed my trusted friend Natalie Osborne as a beneficiary, This is due to the restrictions imposed by the GoFundMe, as I cannot withdraw money while I am in Gaza, so Natalie will withdraw the money and send it to members of my family outside of Gaza, who can send it to me securely.
