Donation protected
Omari “Banger” Jones, recently reached one of his lifelong goals of becoming an Olympian by punching his ticket to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic games this summer. Omari's family, consisting of his dad, mom, and two brothers, is gearing up to support him on his Olympic journey this summer by traveling to Paris. Expenses include flights, accommodation, and meals during the stay in Paris. Any financial assistance contributes to the family's effort to support their son and brother, Paris, as Omari strives for Gold. Omari expresses, "Being part of Team USA is everything I have dreamed of. It shows that my hard work and dedication has paid off, and I am doing what I love while wearing the red, white and blue flag on my chest!".

Omari has been a consistently impressive boxer for Team USA ever since he made a notable entrance onto the international scene with a silver medal at the 2021 Elite World Championships, his first global tournament. Hailing from Orlando, Florida, this 20-year-old athlete secured back-to-back gold medals in the 2023 GeeBee International Tournament and the Czech Republic Grand Prix in the 71 kg weight class, further establishing himself as a rising star in Santiago and beyond.

Being a native of Orlando, Omari embodies the qualities of selflessness, hard work, and inspiration within the Orlando community. Apart from his accomplishments in the boxing ring, Omari has been actively involved in giving back to his community since 5th grade through his participation in a male mentoring program called Lambda Gamma Young Mens Club. The program focuses on Service, Education, Brotherhood, Perseverance, and Integrity, where Omari held leadership roles from 5th to 12th grade. His dedication to community service led to him receiving the 2020-2021 Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award during his senior year at Edgewater High School. Omari has also organized two successful backpack drives as part of his ongoing commitment to community service.

Academically, Omari has maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher throughout high school. At Edgewater High School, he participated in JROTC for four years, held positions as Vice President and President of Lambda Gamma Young Mens Club, and dual-enrolled at Valencia College, all while excelling as a nationally ranked junior circuit boxer.

Omari's impact and inspiration within the Greater Orlando Community are undeniable, reflecting his dedication to his sport, community, and family. The community's support is crucial for Omari as he pursues his dream of competing for gold in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Any donation towards this cause is greatly appreciated to assist his family in witnessing their beloved Omari's Olympic journey to greatness.

Your support, whether through a financial contribution or by sharing this message within the community, is invaluable. Let's rally behind Omari and show our unwavering support for Team USA!
