Support Onyx's journey to a happy, spaz-free life of love

A month ago we rescued Onyx from a very unpleasant situation. The owners had to move and the location they moved to does not allow dogs. They tried to rehome Onyx themselves but to no avail.
Onyx remained in his current situation until someone mentioned him to us. Once we heard about Onyx’s current living arrangements and the struggles they were having rehoming him, I knew we had to step up and get him out of there. At the time, we didn't know if adoption would be an option or not. At the time we got Onyx, the plan was to foster him and see how things worked out with Miley and, if he'd be a good fit for our family.
Onyx is a 3 year old feisty Frenchie. He has not been neutered and is therefore a little horn-dog. He sees Miley and all he wants to do is hump! Miley will be 11 years old next month and wants no one near her “danger area.” For this reason and also because the overbreeding of Frenchie’s is getting out of control, we decided to get onyx fixed. I made an appt with our vet as quickly as possible. This is a time sensitive matter because as long as he's not fixed the potential for a great friendship between the two dogs is hindered dramatically.
At this point in the game all of us, including Miley, have gotten so attached to this little stinker, it's hard to imagine him not being a part of our family. However; Miley is still a little apprehensive to play since Onyx can not refrain from mounting her. We are seriously hoping that neutering Onyx will take care of some of this friskiness. If not we may have to think twice about keeping him.
My plan was to use my care credit account to pay for all services. Unfortunately last week, I received a letter from them stating my credit limit was dropped from $2,500 to $1,030. And I still have an outstanding balance with them. I am looking for work regardless of my health conditions. I'm having a hard time finding anything that works with my limitations and so my finances continue to be a struggle.
This brings me to the purpose of this Gofundme… Onyx’s procedure on Wednesday will cost anywhere from $220 to $336 depending on certain variables. That is money I do not have at the moment. I really want to be able to keep this appt because like I said there will be no peace in this house unless Onyx gets his surgery. That could be the deciding factor on whether we are able to keep him or not.
I would hate to have to rehome Onyx and uproot him again. He's already had a rough 3 years. He has gotten quite use to all of us here, and our routines, and I think he knows how much we love him and he loves us.
Would you, if you’re able to, be willing to help me out with a donation of any amount? $1.00, $5.00 or maybe even $20.00 will go far to offset the cost of Onyx's surgery. I hope I can count on you all to help out with Onyx. He completes our little family and Miley is so excited to possibly have another brother to play with during her remaining time here with us. You may also use venmo or zelle to make your donation. Ask me for my contact information. Thank you guys in advance for any help you're able to provide. If you are not able to donate at this time could I ask you to please share this post for me. It would be appreciated!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️
