Support Osama's Family to Survive in Gazaa & Evacuate

Donation protected

Hello,
I am Inés, I live in the US, and I have setup this fundraiser to support Osama and his displaced family living in Gazaa. These funds will be used to support his family in meeting their base needs of food, water, medicine, and shelter as well as for future evacuation, so that when the borders reopen, they may get to safety and rebuild their lives in Egypt as soon as possible.
All funds will be sent directly to Abdel Kouta, an extended family member of Osama who will distribute the funds to him directly.

Osama is the sole provider for his whole family, including his wife Nabid, their son Ameer, and Osama’s five sisters, three brothers, and his mother and father. Since October, Osama’s family has enduring unimaginable suffering and loss. They have fled many times, and are survivors of the North without any resources or ability to relocate to the South.

During one of their searches for safety, Osama, his wife, and younger brothers Ahmed and Mohammed (pictured above) fled the bombing occurring near where they had been displaced to, and sought shelter in their Uncle’s home. That night, when the aggression intensified, their uncle’s home was bombed. This is where Osama faced the horror of finding his younger brother severely injured and in great need of medical care. On the same day Osama brought his brother to Al Shifa Hospital, it was besieged and they were trapped without food or water for 9 days, forced to drink sea water to survive. This was until Osama courageously and desperately carried his injured brother to his sister’s home, beginning his journey surrounded by cannons, tanks, and armed soldiers.

A few days later, when Osama was gone, his sister’s home was completely demolished with many of his family members still inside. When Osama heard the explosion from the distance and ran to check on them, he became beyond devastated, crying and frantically searching amongst the rubble, to find out that he had lost them all. He lost both his younger brothers, his nephews, his sisters, his sister’s husband, and their four daughters. Since then, Osama and the remaining members of his family continue to be displaced regularly, perpetually seeking refuge where there truly is none.

Prior to the current aggression on his people, Osama studied IT and has been, as he continues to be, the sole provider for his family. Amongst his family is his father who has cancer and is very ill, with no access to sanitary medical care or the medicines he needs to recover and thrive. Osama's family has lived through extremely difficult circumstances and have lost many loved ones and beloved family members in the last few months as well as their home, work, and all the joys they had prior to October. This family have survived psychological warfare, and more unimaginable tragedy and heartache than anyone should ever be forced to endure. They are in great need of financial support to afford basic necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies, and would like to raise enough funds to secure evacuation for his entire family as soon as the borders reopen.

This family has been through more than enough loss, and deserve peace, stability, security, safety, comfort, and joy. Thank you to anyone and everyone who contributes to the restoration of their well-being.

Below are photos of Osama's nieces, who have all been martyred. May they rest in peace.
