Support Otley's Family in This Difficult Time

On Tuesday evening, Otley Locke passed away unexpectedly. Otley was a great man. He was kind, loved his family and friends immensely, and was always someone you could talk to about anything. Anytime anyone needed anything, he was always the first person there to jump right in and take care of it. “I guess I’ll do it.”

Otley was born in Millville and graduated from Millville High School. He worked at the Cumberland Mall for a couple of years before becoming a Corrections Officer. He was currently employed at South Woods State Prison in Bridgeton. Otley enjoyed hunting, wrestling and his cats. He loved and cherished his children. He was predeceased by his father, Stacy Chester Locke and sister-in-law, Barbara Vanaman.

Otley is survived by his children, Daniel Locke and his wife, Brittany, and Cecil Locke; mother, Sandra Polhamus and her husband, Lewis; sister, Tracey Veach; brother, Stacy Locke, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Karin and John Shaffer; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
