Support OU Nightly and Game Day U's SEC Football Coverage

The SEC: "It just means more!" And for OU Nightly and Game Day U student journalists traveling for sports coverage, it just costs more!

For well over a decade, OU Nightly and Game Day U have sent students to cover all away OU Football games. Expenses were covered more easily through existing funds in Gaylord College as most games were within a few hours drive. With OU Football now in the SEC, it's necessary to fly to some games. In addition, smaller towns that are home to the historic and tradition rich colleges of the SEC have fewer hotel and Air BNB options, and that means the cost is much higher than hotels in Big 12 towns.

With such an exciting season ahead of us, our students want to be able to continue the OU Nightly - Game Day U tradition of covering every Sooner Football game: home and away. The lessons learned while on the road are invaluable.

OU Nightly and Game Day U must raise additional money this season to make travel to all away games happen. Any amount will help. If you are a current student, alum, parent or grandparent or just a fan, we hope you will contribute. No amount is too small! Watch our work Fridays during OU Nightly's Big Friday Sports at 4:30pm and Saturday mornings at 9:00am on Cox Cable 703 in OKC and Tulsa, Cheyenne-Arapaho TV in Western Oklahoma, and live streaming on Facebook and YouTube.
