Support our beloved Tony

Hi my name is Sandy and I am creating this Gofundme for our beloved Tony and our family as he recovers from serious injuries. On November 6, 2022, Tony fell victim to a senseless act of gun violence. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds while attempting to break up an altercation. He was rushed to the hospital and had to undergo multiple surgeries to treat his injuries. Less than a week later, Tony was recovering so well that the doctors were preparing him for rehabilitation and discharge from the hospital. On November 15th, a few days following what we thought would be the final surgery, he became extremely ill, he suffered from acute respiratory failure and two severe cardiac arrests which resulted in shock to his vital organs. He was placed on a ventilator and Ecmo machine, the highest form of life support, and has been in the ICU since then. Tony is in serious condition and will be in the ICU for an extended yet unknown period of time until he fully recovers. Tony is a well loved family man, very protective super-hero, generous and always lends a hand to help others. He treats everybody like family no matter who you are. Tony did not deserve this and needs your prayers and support through this difficult time. Although our focus is mainly on his physical and mental recovery, we must also consider the financial burdens that we will soon be faced with. The funds raised on this platform will be used for medical bills and to maintain household and unexpected expenses.
