NIP 2022 - Support Our Campaigns
Donation protected
£3.6 billion was cut from the North between 2010 and 2018, while the South gained £4.7 billion in public spending. London gets £541 more for each person than the North does. This is no accident: the wealth of our North is drained away to create opportunities in the South, and our friends and families are forced to follow.
Does that seem unfair to you? It’s worse than it looks. Every penny taken from public spending is a penny that doesn’t get spent in our communities. Less money spent on Northern public services means fewer public workers supporting local businesses in the North. The cuts ripple outward so that everyone ends up poorer. And less money earned locally means less income tax for the government to spend on public services, and so more cuts follow in a vicious cycle.
The Northern Independence Party opposes this destructive North/South divide. But to do it, we need your help.
This year we're standing candidates all across the North. Our 2022 manifesto for change launches on April 18th, at which point you'll be able to read about the exciting policies we're proposing to tackle the issues of the day. We've put a tremendous amount of work in, and the scale of our operations is increasing month by month.
But the work of our party has a cost. Whether designing and printing election literature, training our candidates, developing policy, paying for our website hosting, or covering the costs of our communications software, we have significant expenses that we have to pay. So for us to deliver the change the North needs, we need your support.
Please donate what you can to support our current and future campaigns and ongoing operations. Together, we can stand up to Westminster's short-sighted and destructive policies and make the North a free, fair home for everyone who wants to live here.
