Support our Combined Honor Guard replacement Bus

The Combined Honor Guard annually provides military honors for 100 deceased veterans and 45 special events. The honor guard provides graveside services as well as services at the funeral homes. Additionally, we provide memorial services at locations requested by the families of the deceased soldier. In these days of being unable to find an honor team, our Team consists of 22 veteran volunteers that regularly attend services and events. We field a full honor team including live TAPS and a bagpiper when requested. Our volunteers donated more than 4000 hours honoring veterans last year.

Presently our Combined Honor Guard utilizes a 1997 Ford 15 passenger bus to attend veteran funerals and special events across the Miami Valley. This 27-year-old bus is beginning to hinder our ability to provide military honors to deceased veterans. We are asking for funding to help with the purchase of a new bus.

Your help in the purchase of this new bus would be greatly appreciated by all of the volunteers. This would help us to continue our mission of every veteran receiving the military honors they earned.
