Support Our Communities Devastated by the Los Angeles Fires

My name is Lewis Myers, I represent Neighborhoods Rise Coalition, a direct action 501(c)(3) organization based in Los Angeles, California. We are seeking donations on behalf of Neighborhoods Rise.

More than 100,000 people have been displaced and whole neighborhoods have been destroyed from fires ignited across Los Angeles since Tuesday, January 6, 2025. Homes, schools, and businesses, in Palisades, Pasadena and Altadena have been altered and the struggle to rebuild will be immense and extremely challenging. The likelihood of more fires across Los Angeles remains as unfavorable firefighting conditions and strong winds continue.

Your generous donations will be used for:

DIRECT ACTION

- Distributing cash vouchers so people can purchase essential items to help during displacement and recovery.

- Community clean up.

- Canvassing, connecting with our fellow neighbors about important issues.

- Food drives and relief programs.

LONG-TERM RECOVERY

- Help our neighbors with cleanup and repairs to help rebuild so communities can return to their homes.

- Learn more about local aid, community services and various resources to aid with displacement, recovery and rebuilding.

- Connect with community-based organizations and learn more about community projects that can provide assistance during the challenging phase of recovery.
