Support Our Community After Oakland Robbery
Donation protected
Reaching out to the community to help support an amazing community we built in a short 5 months. I was out filming an ad for the community event and was robbed at gunpoint. While shooting out in Oakland near Joaquin Miller Park, two men pulled a gun on me and robbed me of all my video equipment and tools I was using. I use this equipment part-time in order to support myself and my family through videography and creating videos for companies. My insurance said they wouldn't cover it even though I have a police report and it's stated in their policy it's something they insure. I don't know what else to do because I know I won't be able to replace it. They stole camera bodies, lenses, lighting equipment, a drone and my electric generator. This honestly sucks so much. And the police won't be able to find them because it's nearly impossible with everything going on in Oakland.
I've been able to document my community I've been building and couldn't have been able to provide a free outlet for others to meet people in person and in a safe environment. It's up on [email redacted] and on the website at www.inmotionmovement.com
