My name is Dalia Idriss and i'm I am fundraising to help my friend Dareen Murshed and her family evacuate from Gaza.

We are urgently seeking your support to aid our dear friend Dareen and her family in escaping the relentless bombings and chaos in Gaza. Their lives have been upended by forced displacement, leaving them yearning for safety, stability, and the familiarity of their homeland.

Dareen and her family have faced unimaginable hardships, enduring multiple displacements across Gaza. Their once safe and happy homes now lie in ruins. They long for peace and stability, but the ongoing threats in Rafah have forced them to make a difficult decision: evacuation to save their lives.

We implore you, to contribute to our fundraising campaign. The funds raised will cover the following costs for Dareen and her family:

1. Evacuation Fee/Egyptian Coordination: Each adult person requires £5,445 (approximately $7,000) for evacuation. With six adults, the total cost is substantial.

2. GoFundMe Fee: Approximately 2.9% of each donation will go towards platform fees.

3. Extra Living Costs: Dareen and her family will need temporary shelter and basic necessities during their transition in Egypt.

Total Evacuation Cost: £35,000
