Support Should’ve Swiped Left
Hi friends, family, and supporters of indie film,
We’re Morgan Messina and Madison Ellington, and together we created MoMad Productions — film company dedicated to telling powerful, real, and faith-rooted stories. Our mission is guided by the belief that “No one is too far gone” — meaning no matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been, you are never too far gone for Jesus to redeem you.
We're thrilled to announce our first official short film, Should’ve Swiped Left — and we need your support to bring it to life.
About the Film
Should’ve Swiped Left is a suspenseful and emotional story about Lena, a young woman who goes on what seems like a perfect first date with a guy she meets on Hinge — Jack. He’s charming, funny, and checks every box… until the night takes a dark turn. Jack isn’t who he says he is, and Lena ends up drugged, vulnerable, and in serious danger.
Sasha, Lena’s best friend and a devoted Christian who’s spent years encouraging Lena to explore her faith shows up just in time to save Lena — but it costs her everything. Sasha dies saving her friend, leaving Lena forever changed by both the tragedy and the faith that carried Sasha through it all.
Why We’re Telling This Story
Should’ve Swiped Left isn’t just a thriller — it’s a wake-up call.
We live in a world where online dating is the norm, and too often, women are put in risky situations without realizing it. This film is about raising awareness around that reality — but it’s also about the power of friendship and the quiet strength of faith.
Sasha’s character embodies what it means to love selflessly and live with purpose. Her faith is what ultimately saves Lena — and we hope it sparks conversations about the kind of love and strength the world desperately needs more of.
Why We Need Your Support

Let’s Make Something That Matters
We believe Should’ve Swiped Left will not only entertain but empower, protect, and inspire. It’s our debut film, and we’re pouring our hearts into telling a story that could literally save lives.
Thank you for being a part of this moment — and for believing in us and in the stories that need to be told.
