I'm excited to connect with you as I journey to raise funds for the Soul of Chicago House Music Fest. My name is Karen Soto. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and I am working with Mr. Tony Technics to create The Soul of Chicago House Music Fest. I'm passionate about music, education, and community empowerment.

The Soul of Chicago House Music Fest holds a special place in my heart because it will not only showcase established house music artists; it's will also give teachers and students a platform to shine and make their debut performances. These teachers and students will get to perform alongside seasoned professionals and their hard work and dedication will have the chance to be recognized and celebrated by their communities.

This festival isn't just about music; it's about fostering creativity, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation of house music artists. That's why it's important for us to make sure it's an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Your generous contributions will be instrumental in making this vision a reality. The funds will be used to provide students with essential equipment like headphones and speakers for the class we are teaching. The funds will also help cover some festival expenses and guarantee a seamless event. We plan to invest in equipment that will continue to benefit students in their musical journey beyond the festival.

Half of the proceeds generated by The Soul of Chicago House Music Fest will be donated to the Chicago Teachers Union Foundation to help make the Learn to Spin DJ class more afforadable for all students.
