Support Our Efforts to Heal a Neglected Dog

Tuesday around 8:30 pm while sitting outside, the dog shown in the pictures approached us from up over the hill. We were in disbelief as he is skin and bone and has sores all over his body. His nails are extremely overgrown and he can barely keep any food down currently. We have been attempting to feed him in small portions but he vomits it back up. We do believe this is a case of neglect and that will be handled separately.

Despite the cards he has been dealt, his eyes still shine bright with life. He is the sweetest guy and loves belly rubs and just wants to be loved all the time. He is not chipped and has tugged on the hearts of myself, as well as a few of our neighbors and we want to do everything in our power to get him help and to get him healthy. we have exhausted many options and reached out to many shelters and hit a wall each and everytime. It is clear that he will need veterinary care, we are unsure of his true age but his teeth don’t look too bad, and unfortunately is still intact. An estimate of age as well as further details will be given once we are able to get him to a vet. Money is tight for the world at the moment as well as personal things in myself as well as my neighbors lives so we currently cannot afford to take him to the vet by ourselves.

All funds will be going towards his care as well as all veterinary expenses, possible fostering situations. etc. We truly appreciate any donation towards his care, thank you.

OVERALL UPDATE AS OF 8 / 23 / 24:

Assumed to be 9 years old! He is 62 pounds when he should be 100+.

Severe Urinary Tract Infection, Severe Ear Infections, Lymes Disease, Anaplasmosis, going into renal failure that is reversible. we have the option of having him stay at the hospital for treatment or we can give the intravenous fluids at home.
