Support Our Family's Fight Against Cancer and Hardship

Donation protected

My sweet daughter has carcinoma lymphoma, which is cancer of the lymph nodes. She has been faced with struggle since birth. Barely making it when her lungs didn't transition to sustaining oxygen levels immediately, she had to be lifelined in a helicopter to Riley Hospital where they explained they could not keep her O2 levels from falling even with their best respirator. They needed to perform a new procedure called ECMO surgery or she would surely not make it. So we opted for the surgery, which could have killed her on its own as it involved cutting a hole in her carotid artery and running a tube into her heart to pump her blood into a machine which would oxygenate her blood and pump it back into her body. After 6 weeks on this ECMO and in a drug-induced coma, she finally was able to be taken off of it and survived! She sustained major brain damage due to the lack of oxygen during the period from birth till the surgery, but she is a very happy little girl and just loves life, always smiling, and giving big hugs to everyone.

Now recently we had noticed she had these big lumps on her neck on the side and back of her neck. They don't seem to hurt her much, but irritate her as she tries to scratch at them to get them off. Unfortunately, the only way to get rid of this is surgery where they remove the lymph nodes. We have two disabled children, her and her older brother who has severe autism disorder. So as you can imagine, it takes both of us to raise them simultaneously. They have many demands and are non-verbal and still in diapers, always will be most likely. The need for me to be at home helping my wife with the kids has left me with difficulty in sustaining employment that is willing to work with me on scheduling and basically I need to be at home to help my wife as she can't do it for both on her own all the time. She needs my help. My family comes first. But it's caused financial issues and we are struggling to put gas in the tank to get kids to their doctor appointments and everything else lack of funds comes with. Bills piled up, credit agencies calling daily after losing credit cards as we can't pay the bills.

Any help would very much be appreciated! Our hopes are that one day we can pay for the operation our daughter needs as well as be financially stable once again. It may be just a dream for us at the moment, but you can help make that dream come true for my family and my daughter who hasn't deserved any of the bad cards she's been dealt from day one. All she wants is to be happy and play like normal kids do. You can help us make this dream a reality! Anything that you can spare will help us at this time. Gas for her doctor appointments, food for the home, pay the bills, and hopefully most of all, save my little girl's life!

Thank you so much for your time and attention to our story. We appreciate your help, even the smallest donation can make a world of difference in the long run. God bless!
