Support Liam to help Future AMSB Athletes with a Jumping Pit
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Liam from Troop 63 in Woodbridge, and I am working on my Eagle Scout project. I joined the school track and cross-country teams at Amity Middle School Bethany in 8th grade. Due to my continuing participation in track and cross-country I truly believe that sports and physical exercise are integral parts of living a healthy, happy life. Now, I aspire to expand the options to other students, especially those who would like to participate in field events. To do this, I aim to build a Track and Field jumping pit at AMSB. Currently, the High School and the Middle School in Orange have jumping pits, but not the Bethany Middle School. Our students have opportunities to compete in long jump events at meets, but they cannot currently train for competition. To make the jumping pit a reality I ask for your assistance in helping me raise the funds needed to buy the supplies. The project's estimated cost, covering materials like wood, gravel and sand, is around $3,200. This project has already been approved by the school and my Eagle Scout Board, and is ready to launch. I would appreciate any monetary contribution via my GoFundMe. Please contact me for material or labor donations. See my proposed budget attached. Any additional money raised will be donated to the Amity Middle School Athletic Program. Thank you.
