Ninjas4Vets - 2024
Donation protected
Hello Everyone! As Summer has wrapped up and school has begun, we hope that you all have had a safe and healthy year. In a few short weeks, we will be organizing our Ninjas to recognize and remember the sacrifices of our military heroes on Veterans Day. Last year was a great success showing local veterans how grateful we are for their perseverance and sacrifice. It's also an opportunity to teach our children that a little can go a long way in supporting those who have given so much. In that spirit, we are keeping this fantastic tradition alive in 2024!
Every year on the eve of Veterans Day, Ninjas4Vets post "Thank You" signs and flags at the homes of Veterans within the community to honor their service to our country. The children receive a folder about their specific veteran and learn about that person, their branch of service, years active, and their best memory while serving. The kids then decorate posters, have pizza and listen to a guest speaker who talks about their time in the military and the importance of support needed at home. Afterwards the children install the posters with American flags under the cover of darkness, so that their Veteran wakes up to signs of appreciation and thanks! It ends up being a very special night for the kids and veterans alike!
Our goal is to raise $7,500 which will be used to help raise awareness about the organization and find more veterans to thank! Our group has grown tremendously through the years, and that's only with the help and support of you! 100% of proceeds will go to various Veteran organizations that Ninjas4Vets has been affiliated with over the years, especially Army Ranger Lead the Way Foundation (LeadthewayFund.org) and Rivers of Recovery (RiversofRecovery.org).
We ask that you please consider donating to spread awareness for this worthy cause.
Please see the video from our event which was a great success because of donations like yours!
God Bless Our Troops and God Bless America!
