Support Our Journey to a Service Dog

Hi! Most of you know me and at least part of my epilepsy journey (and what a journey it's been!!!). Even with all the surgeries and meds, my epilepsy is still not controlled. Many of my seizures are at night which puts me at a high risk for SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy)

Also, my husband has PTSD and while he is currently in therapy, that only lasts a couple more weeks. Between the 2 of us, we both have a strong need for a service dog!!

We've talked to an amazing, highly reputable, breeder and trainer and she has one GoldenDoodle left (which is the exact type of dog we are looking for.) We put a deposit down and get him this weekend!! We are thrilled!! With that said, it will increase our financial need and dip (scoop!) into our savings. After the original costs, we will still need to pay for sessions to train him to do specific tasks. And of course, unlike Dolly who just needs a bed or human to sleep on - a puppy needs much more!
