Help Us Send Our Kids to Summer Camp

Summer camp is vital for our kids' emotional and physical well-being and also serves as essential childcare while we both work full-time. However, the cost of camp this year is beyond what we can manage, and we’re asking for your help to give our kids the opportunity they need and deserve.

Why This Matters

Our kids have been through so much over the past few years, especially with the challenges of COVID-19. Like many families, we’re working hard to provide them the stability and enrichment they need to thrive. Camp will help them build confidence, develop new skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Our youngest is passionate about swimming and dreams of learning to swim correctly. She’s overjoyed about attending a local camp focusing on swimming and physical activity. This camp costs $4,266.

Our oldest loves video games and has been asking to learn how to create games and mods. CodeNinjas camp is his dream, teaching kids to program in Minecraft and Roblox. The cost for this camp is $4,200 for eight weeks.

In total, we need $8,466 to cover both camps.

Our Situation

We’re both full-time working parents—one in research and one in culinary. Like many families, we depend on summer camp not just for childcare but also to help our kids grow socially and emotionally.

Working Extra: I’ve been actively searching for a second job to help cover costs, but finding something flexible enough to fit our schedule has been a challenge.

Tight Finances: We’ve already put half of our savings into the first camp and must cover the rest by February 1st to secure the second registration.
