The Muji Stocking Fund-Support our local shelter s

Muji was the most loving cat our family ever met. He wanted to be everyone's best friend and loved a good cuddle. Muji was adopted in 2018 from Austin PetsAlive! (an amazing organization for you to donate to), he was listed as one of the pets that most needed a home. Chelsea May fell in love with him immediately; he was described as not too affectionate, okay with being alone, and not too active because he had Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). We quickly discovered that none of that was accurate. He may not have been able to walk like you would expect a cat to but he was always determined to be as close to you as possible, loved playing, was extremely affectionate, and made every day brighter.

Unfortunately Muji ended up either not having CH or having CH plus a degenerative condition in his brain. Muji died in November of 2021. But he continues to live on in our family in our memories and in the ways that we honor him every Christmas by hanging up his stocking and stuffing it with cat toys and treats for the cats at our local humane society. Friends even started donating money to help purchase food and litter and other things that the Humane Society needs to operate.

This year we decided to set up a GoFund me so that you can donate funds directly to the Humane Society of SW Michigan (this happens to also be where we adopted our pup LouAnn).

If you can, take some time to donate a couple bucks to this amazing organization that helps cats (and dogs) to find their forever home and loves them fiercely until they do.
