Help Allison Fight Cancer
Donation protected
On the 5th of August, my mother's world took a drastic turn. While visiting my brother in LA after a car accident, she discovered a lump in her breast during a routine shower. Back in London, tests revealed the devastating diagnosis: HER2 triple positive Breast Cancer.
Since then, she's faced a relentless onslaught of treatments and procedures, each demanding her strength and resilience. From mammograms to chemotherapy, antibody injections to mastectomy with reconstruction surgery, she's braved it all with remarkable courage.
But the battle against cancer isn't just physical—it's emotional and financial, too. As she fought the disease, she faced weight and hair loss, unbearable nausea, and a myriad of other side effects. Yet, through it all, she never wavered in her determination to overcome.
As a beloved figure in our community—a foster parent, a youth club worker, founding member of Brixton Bulls Rugby Club, a beacon of hope—my mother has dedicated her life to serving others, especially the old and vulnerable through her job as a home visit librarian. Her charity work extends beyond the bounds of expectation, aiding vulnerable families and individuals, offering them hope and support in their darkest hours.
But cancer doesn't discriminate, and now she needs our help.
Despite health insurance and some savings, the financial burden of her treatment is staggering. Surgeries, scans, medications—the costs keep piling up. And with no way to predict the future expenses, the uncertainty weighs heavily on our family.
The past months have been a rollercoaster of hope and despair. My mother's resilience in the face of relentless side effects is nothing short of inspiring. Every day, she battles through pain and sickness, never losing sight of her goal: to beat cancer and reclaim her life.
Now, we turn to you, our community, our friends, our extended family. We've tried to bear this burden alone, but it's become too much to bear. Your support can make all the difference.
Your donation, no matter the size, will provide crucial relief for medical expenses, giving my mother the peace of mind to focus on her recovery. Together, let's rally around this incredible woman who has given so much to others.
Thank you for standing with us in this fight against breast cancer. Thank you for supporting our London legend.
