Support Our Mom's Battle With Multiple Myeloma

In June, our mom was diagnosed with stage 3 Multiple Myeloma, a cancer that can cause weakening of the bones. This has also weakened her bone marrow, which is the blueprint for all the cells in the body. Since the diagnosis, she has suffered multiple broken ribs and a fractured spine. She was taken out of work immediately. During this time, she has spent more than a week in the hospital learning of her new diagnosis, and has been in and out of treatments multiple times a week.

She will now be spending over a month in the hospital getting high doses of radiation and chemotherapy before another month of strict bed rest. This is a huge financial and emotional burden on her, as well as our entire family. Our hope with this month of fundraising is to ease the worry of medical costs and bills, and any necessities she may need as she recovers from this extensive procedure.
