Support Our Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hey everyone!!! Billy/Catch22, Bibi, and Schoomy here. You all asked for this, so here we go! Tbh, I have no clue what amount to put as I know it has to be in the neighborhood of a 125k dollar loss without flood insurance. We purchased wind and homeowners vs. homeowners and flood. Florida and insurance is an insane thing. Never thought we would ever do something like this, so here it goes.
Hurricane Helena had a massive storm surge that flooded our entire first floor of our house to the height of about 3 to 4 feet. This caused us to have to throw away all of our belongings on our first floor and to now rip the walls off up to this point and rebuild it once it's dry. Then refinish, texture, and paint. Along with this, we will be replacing every single appliance in the whole house and even most electrical items outside the house. You know...everything. It's been crazy to see the amount of things you collect over the course of your life and only realize it when you throw each one of these things away. But I don't think rotten ocean swamp water is too good of a flavoring agent for our food. Most of our clothes, all of our food, and basically everything people use to live has been soiled with swamp water.
Next, we will go to a rental house and do this all over again. Ripping up all floors, doors, kitchen cabinets, and appliances. Then onto my father's house to help him repair his first floor too.
Then we will see about rebuilding all the little projects, the 240sx Silvia that is completely flooded, a 1965 s90 Honda, Honda Ruckus, our lawnmower, generator, pressure washer, cleaning up 3 huge toolboxes of tools that are probably ruined. The list goes on and on...
It's a bit overwhelming, but first and foremost, Bibi, Schoomy, myself, and my father are safe. All in all, it's just stuff, but it would be nice to go home and sleep in our bed. Oh yeah, we need a bed, and couches, and lights, toothbrushes, and and. Wow. It's pretty unreal. Thanks to some amazing people that have helped already with removal, demo, and even reached out to set up a list of items that could be provided. This is all new to us, so please be patient as we learn how to accept help, money, and try to stay on task and not be blubbering emotional wrecks from all your kindness that has already been shown.
