Human Nature is a NEW and exciting high-quality student film production. This film follows the story of a young man after his girlfriend's mysterious disappearance. He decides to stop at nothing to find her – even if it means confronting an unstoppable, supernatural force.

Meet The Crew

Valeria Feliciano, Producer

Valeria is a Senior at the University of Miami majoring in film production with a double minor in music business and theater. She has always loved creating films and developing meaningful stories to share. Valeria is a multi-award nominated filmmaker. After the release of her music video, "Secuelas" (aka Aftermath), Which she directed, produced and appeared in. It was nominated as a finalist for the Vanilla Ice Music Video Award by the Palm Beach Student Showcase of Films. One of Florida’s top student film festivals within the state. Among other nominations for best music video around the world. Valeria believes this will be an excellent opportunity to explore working in a new film genre. She is excited to share the incredible talent that comes with the creation of Human Nature.

Christian is a junior at the University of Miami studying film production. He's thrilled to be developing Human Nature and making it a reality. He's been passionate about storytelling ever since he could remember, and now he is getting his first opportunity to share this story with the world. Christian has worked on many films. Mainly lending a helping hand in other student productions. This film will be his first time writing and directing a project. Sharing, "I can’t wait to make this story a reality. I firmly believe with the crew I have; it’ll become something extraordinary." - Christian Davila

Mackenzie is a senior at the University of Miami majoring in film production. Over the years, she has been a part of various student films that have intensified her love for filmmaking. She is very excited to continue improving her filmmaking skills as the lighting director for this project. She believes developing Human Nature will provide an opportunity to showcase all the talent within the crew.

Erick is a junior at the University of Miami, majoring in film production with a minor in architecture. Coming into film from a classical piano background, he got into the world of cinema by composing for a short film, “Grey,” in high school, which was selected for several film festivals. Since then, he has been involved in producing, writing, directing and editing several short films specializing in cinematography, one of which was shot in two states. Human Nature is a new venture that has excited him from the first rough drafts, and he is thrilled to help bring it to life.

Rush Hanks is a senior at the University of Miami with a passion for editing. With over five years of experience in the Adobe Suite, Rush enjoys all aspects of post-production work for film - from picture editing to audio recording and mixing. Rush was the recipient of the “Best Sound Design'' award at the Spring 2022 Canes Film Festival for his contributions to the student film Croaker’s Ride.

Paul Villa is a junior at the University of Miami. He has worked on set for Stihl commercials and produced, edited, and directed a documentary called Hear Me Out. It was nominated for multiple awards by KMOV St. Louis. Paul shares, “Working with the crew, especially Christian, has been incredible. The attention to detail and raw talent everyone involved with this has is incredible.” Paul has always wanted to work on thrillers. He believes this will be an excellent opportunity to showcase his strengths.
