Hey Cookie Family,

My name is Erin and I’m the owner, creator, and founder of “Cooking with Curves” Signature Cookie Shop. Eight years ago, I began to bake my dad’s oatmeal cookie recipe for family and friends for enjoyment. Once I began to get raving reviews, I took his recipe to “the moon” and handcrafted 11 amazingly delicious flavors of oatmeal cookies.

As the years went on and the demand increased, I decided to pursue my baking dream full-time, quit my job, and became very successful with my online cookie shop, which included delivery and shipping to cookie cravers all over the world.

Once the pandemic hit, my cookie demand increased even more, and it was time to open a brick-and-mortar cookie shop. I was so excited to expand the cookie business; however, opening the cookie shop during the pandemic came with a lot of financial setbacks and its fair share of hardships. Materials for the buildout were at their highest, and it was hard to find contractors during these times, which resulted in a one-year buildout, and all my funds were exhausted.

Despite all the difficulties, I persevered and officially opened up the cookie shop in November 2022, in addition to adding hands-on baking for all ages. Over the last two years, we’ve had much success in the first location; however, due to inflation and going viral on TikTok, we need your help to expand and meet this increasing demand.

WHY WE’RE RAISING FUNDS:

We are excited to launch our GoFundMe campaign to expand and improve Cooking with Curves. With your support, we aim to:

1. Expand Our Menu: We plan to introduce new cookie flavors, including more vegan and gluten-free options, to cater to all customers’ tastes and dietary needs.

2. Upgrade Our Equipment: Investing in new kitchen equipment will help us bake more efficiently and maintain the high quality of our cookies that you've come to love.

3. Create a Cozy Community Space: We envision a cozy seating area where you can enjoy your cookies with a cup of coffee, catch up with friends, or even host small community events.

4. Expand Baking Classes: Updating equipment and incorporating modern technology can greatly enhance the learning experience.
