Support our Family During This Terrible Loss

Survived by his wife, Suzanna, and their three children, Olivia Logan and Caleb, this incredible man-a father, friend, husband, and devoted follower of Christ-dedicated his life to making the world a better place. He lived by the words, "I will leave it a better place than I found it," and he certainly achieved that.
Whether serving his country in the military or working at Veteran Affairs, helping his fellow comrades and their families, or simply being there for our family in any way possible, he consistently made a positive impact. Along the way, he formed wonderful friendships and inspired many to emulate his qualities.
In the past week, numerous stories have been shared by his church friends and family members. They all spoke highly of his deep connection with the Lord and his close bond with many people. He was like a brother to many, and many looked up to him, striving to be like him because of his unconditional love for everyone, treating them as family. He always prioritized his family above all else.
All his friends expressed that he had much pride in his children, wife, and accomplishments at the VA. He was content with his job, and that's all anyone could ever wish for. We cherish many wonderful memories of him, and the many more we wish we could have created.
When he discovered that his son was expecting a baby, he was overjoyed because he had been eagerly anticipating this moment. He felt immense pride in the success he had achieved in raising his children and was genuinely happy that both his sons had chosen to follow in his footsteps and become soldiers of the US Army.
Although we all love and deeply miss him, we know that he is in heaven, relieved of the pain and suffering of this cruel world, with his son Jeremiah and his long missed family in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be missed and grieved by many.
