Support our video Change Happens One Conversation at a Time

Hi! Roger and Ellen here. You may remember us from a few years ago when we created a song and video called Rise Up for Democracy with our friend and collaborator, Margo Schepart. Well we’ve got a new song and it’s got an interesting history. Every year we donate a performance of our band, Too Human, to perform at the yearly Indivisigather to celebrate the work of members of Indivisible Northampton. So this past year at the event (very last minute) the organizers asked us to do a sing-along. We had seen this wonderful poster that they had on display at the event that said “Change Happens One Conversation at a Time.” That statement embodies everything that we believe in about grassroots activism. So we wrote a song on the spot using that slogan and everyone sang along. It was great fun. We have recorded the finished song and now we would like to make a video, using music and images to inspire and energize supporters of democracy to participate at a grassroots level; and help newcomers to get involved as well, writing postcards or making phone calls or going door to door to talk to voters.
