Erika Xiomara Cruz: Funeral Expenses

Last night our daughter,  sister,  cousin and friend Erika 'Xiomy' Cruz passed away due to a car accident involving a truck and a drunk driver. She was one of the smartest, most loving, caring, passionate, motivated, inspiring, intelligent people we've ever known in our lives. She had big plans for this year and was doing so good in life. She was such an amazing daughter, cousin, friend and such a pure human being. She had so much to offer the world and was going to do amazing things in this life but now our families can’t watch her grow anymore.  All we’re left with are thoughts of what could have been. Just as she was maturing and moving into her adult life it was all taken away only 30 seconds from returning home from work. She was literally 2 blocks away from being back home and didn’t make it due to a drunk driver. Now we’ll never see her grow into her career. We’ll never see her graduate college. We’ll never see her get married. We’ll never see her have kids. We’ll never see her or hear her voice again. She was so excited about college and the start of her fitness page and just to do so many things in the world. All this makes us think about is all the time we take for granted, knowing she would be here taking full advantage of every moment. She was the type of person you could always learn something from. The world has lost such a beautiful person and pure soul, but the heavens have gained a new angel. We know she’s in a better place now smiling, laughing and taking care of us. We love you and miss you Erika Cruz ❤️ watch over us and protect us as we go through these times. Pour a little bit of yourself into all of us.
