Support our Youth Program at A Horse's Friend Inc

A Horse's Friend, Inc. is a non-profit outreach program whose mission is to expose youth from the inner city and underserved populations to the world of horses. We have touched the lives of over 5,000 such youth, disadvantaged, and otherwise underprivileged children.

Matthew Doward, the Founder and Executive Director of A Horse's Friend, Inc., has spent over 19 years working with inner city youth and members of the community in promoting positive values, increasing social competencies, and teaching children to respect themselves and others through working with horses.

Since our move our new farm location in Rush NY in September 2022, we've made significant improvements to the property and have expanded our youth horsemanship program to serve youth from the Rochester City School District, Villa of Hope, Life House, Keeping our Promise, Encompass, Rush and Greece School Districts along with many area town recreation departments.

As a non-profit organization, we appreciate your tax deductible donation which will help provide feed, bedding, and pasture needs for our 22 horses which work so hard to serve the youth in our program.
