Family needs help

My name is Patti Martin and I am starting this fundraiser for my friend and my son Owen's girlfriend. She is currently fighting two forms of thyroid cancer which is now complicated with an iron deficiency. The out-of-pocket costs so far for medical treatment are $15,000+. Insurance is covering only 60% of what the specialist recommends.

She has also been out of work for much of this time (now reaching 8 months) and she has 3 children to support.
