Support Owosso Workers Laid Off for Unionizing
Donation protected
Hello friends and supporters,
We, the workers of Vista Owosso, are reaching out to share a deeply personal and urgent matter affecting a group of incredible individuals. We were recently laid off from our jobs for the simple act of coming together to form a union, fight for our rights, and advocate for a better workplace environment.
Like many working-class individuals, we dedicated our time, energy, and skills to our jobs. We showed up every day, working diligently to support ourselves and our families. We believed in the power of unity and that by organizing, we could improve the lives of all employees.
However, when Vista learned about our efforts, they responded with hostility. They chose to fire, or "lay off," every single union supporter, leaving with uncertainty and a devastating loss of income.
And now, we turn to you, our compassionate friends, family, and community, for support. Together, we can restore hope, and fight against these injustices that threaten the very fabric of workers' rights. By donating to our cause, your generosity will help cover essential expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, and healthcare.
Your contribution, no matter the amount, serves as a beacon of hope and sends a resounding message that we are not alone as we continue to push back against Vista Entertainment Solutions. With each donation, you not only help us regain a sense of stability, but you also join us in standing up against the systemic injustices faced by workers everywhere.
We want to express our deepest gratitude for taking the time to read our story and considering supporting our cause.
When We Fight, We Win.
In solidarity,
NABET-CWA Local 46 and the workers of Vista Owosso
