Support Pacific Palisades Music Studio

An update. It has been five weeks since the fire. Not being a resident but a mere business am in a limbo since I don’t qualify for various forms of assistance: would it be FEMA , unemployment or multiple other wonderful organizations. I am grateful to my generous former students, friends and family for their heartfelt support. Unfortunately, a workless workaholic is not the best situation to be in. It takes time to accumulate new students and am hard at work looking for a new crop. At this point am grieving for  what is lost, including my identity. Am a piano teacher who lost a 28 year old business in the Palisades fire. And while my office is miraculously standing, I am grieving not being able to continue working with families I have worked with for years. They lost their homes, schools and reasons to be in Pacific Palisades. I lost them and my source of income. The funds raised will be spent on maintaining the studio/ its lease, advertising and monthly bills until the Palisades will start returning to rebuild their homes and lives.
