Support Paige's Battle Against Stage IV Cancer

Only a few short months after Paige finished her education to become a pharmacist, and immediately following the death of her father, Paige and her husband received devastating news as she was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2023.

Treatment began shortly after, including seemingly endless months of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and countless procedures and surgeries. Paige managed to fight through these challenges while also completing her pharmacy residency program. Following this process, Paige was deemed cancer free in May of this year and began the grueling process of getting an elective double mastectomy to ensure her ongoing health.

Unfortunately, just as the end of treatment arrived, the cancer recurred, resulting in spread to Paige's lungs and a new diagnosis of metastatic Stage IV triple negative breast cancer.

Her doctors worked quickly to come up with a treatment plan, which she recently began. This plan, however, is not considered curative and will likely only prolong the inevitable. Though her friends and family remain hopeful, the care team have advised Paige and Sam that her prognosis is likely poor with a median survival time of 2 years and very limited treatment options.

Despite Paige’s successful career as a pharmacist, and the support of her loving husband Sam, this news has had a detrimental impact on them both and has also limited Paige's ability to work as she juggles appointments once again. Additionally, it is expected that, without new treatments or advancements, she may have to stop working completely in the near future.
