Support Paige's Healing Journey Post-Surgery

Hi friends- First, thank you for taking the time to read this. Myy older sister Paige has had to undergo a very intense open-heart surgery this past Sunday. While visiting an urgent care for an unrelated issue, she was sent to the ER for a CT scan that showed something in her heart. She was sent to Edward Heart Hospital in Naperville right away for further testing. It revealed that she had a tumor growing in her left atrium of her heart. The wonderful doctors and surgeons there were able to schedule her for surgery, which lasted many hours, and remove the entire tumor. The mass was the size of a lemon, and the doctor expressed it would have been fatal had it not been found. We are all eternally grateful that she was seen at the urgent care and the ER was able to catch it. There are no words for how important that was and how blessed and lucky we all feel to have her seen and cared for so quickly.

With this kind of surgery, however, as invasive as it is, she will be out of work for many weeks, and although she has insurance, we all know how medical bills tend to add up very quickly. Any donation to help her with bills and everyday expenses so she can just focus on getting better and back to her incredible, fun-loving, and sweet self, is greatly appreciated. If you know Paige, you know what it is like to be truly loved. She is the most generous and caring person we have ever known, and I truly believe it's her time to receive. She did not ask me to create this for her, but she has supported me through every step of my life; it is the least I can do.
