Support Pam Perkins' Battle Against Cancer

Friends and Family, we are reaching out on behalf of our beloved coworker and friend Pam Perkins who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 endometrial uterine cancer. What began as a regular check up turned into her receiving devastating news. She ended up having to undergo a total hysterectomy, but the cancer had already spread to the lymph nodes in the surrounding area, resulting in a 8 rounds of chemotherapy and at least 5 weeks of radiation to aid in her battle against this disease. She begins her 3rd round of Chemo this week and has not even begun radiation yet. If you can imagine this is a hefty bill of about 80K as of now, for her treatments and recovery . If any of you know Pam, you would know she is a very proud and humble person, who would not ask for help unless it was needed.

Through this process, she has to take off work for Chemo appointments, doctor follow-ups, and recovery time. She is still actively working as much as she can through the treatments to keep up with her normal day-to-day bills and living expenses.

She is actively seeking other forms of financial assistance in which we are hopeful she will receive, but the total costs of this are unknown until she has finished her treatments.
