Support Parley and Mom On the Road to Recovery

Donation protected
UPDATE: THANK YOU TO EVERYONE for your generous donations! Mom and Parley have expressed tons of gratitude for the kindness and love from everyone.

STORY: On October 7th, our little brother, Parley, was in a terrible 4-wheeler accident; he was rushed unconscious to the ICU and monitored.

Parley sustained awful burns from the oil pan on his right arm, requiring skin grafts to heal. His collarbone was broken into three pieces. A CT scan showed multiple skull fractures in the front and back of his head and several fractured bones in his sinuses and ears, causing him to be deaf in one ear.

Over time he began to wake up. Soon he was cleared to start therapy, Learning how to talk, walk, and use his muscles again. He was given excellent care by the hospital doctors, nurses, and therapists.

Many people came and showed their love and support; we are so grateful to the community who showed up and showed love! Parley had his 16th birthday and Halloween in the hospital. He made remarkable progress while there, eventually getting to the point of being able to walk with a walker.

Finally, they had their first day home on November 13th (over one month in the hospital!). They have continued a regime of therapies and rest while he continues on his long journey to recovery.
