"WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER"

Many of us have faced dire situations we couldn't see a way out of. Fearful of rejection, we isolated ourselves and refused to reach out. What I’m about to ask is far greater than myself or my circumstances. I struggled for years, running from being obedient to God's call and doing things my way until one day I had an epiphany: it wasn’t working because of the plans God had for my life. I had to surrender and humble myself. I was licensed to preach the Gospel in 2016. I was not used to being on the receiving end. The Bible says, "You have not because you ask not." Matthew 7:7 in the ESV reads, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." So, in my moment of transparency, allow me to be vulnerable with you: I NEED YOUR HELP!

In 2019, I rented a storefront space for a barbershop in Buffalo, NY. In 2020, the pandemic hit, and this is where things started, we were not able to assemble in our worship buildings due to pandemic. Missing the assembling, fellowship, and song service, I decided to transform the barbershop into a place of worship on Sunday evenings for one hour for those who felt like me. Of course, attendees had to be vaccinated and COVID-free. and the seed for Refill was planted during this time.

Time progressed and move forward and the COVID Pandemic was lifted and God continued the fermentation of the seed and ministry of Refill. and Sunday nights became Refill night services. Refill Church impacting the lives and transitioning the hearts of people and drawing them to Christ. from active movement in ministry my Bishop saw something more in me.

On Mother's Day of 2023, I was ordained to Pastor and further the Refill Church. after much prayer and sacrifice I closed my barbershop and relocated to Texas to assist my mom with my dad, a former pastor afflicted by a stroke. Exodus 20:12 says honor thy mother and father; that your day may be long upon the earth, being obedient to the word I made the transition but God was still working the seed and purposed he planted in me.

Upon moving to Fort Worth Texas God saw a need for ministry in the community in which I and my parents lived in. In that community, I have been doing ministry for over a year now in the community room every Thursday and on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays, which I have named “REFILL CHURCH.” We feed people every first Sunday along with hosting different outreach events and holiday giveaways. There are restrictions we must adhere to so we are limited to what we can do and we have also outgrown the space. Imagine looking into a glass window, seeing people feed with both spiritual and physical food and having fun, but not being able to go in because there is not enough space. This is what we are enduring, and it saddens my heart.

We are in need of a bigger building and all that makes a conducive place of worship, fellowship and fun, which is where your support and donations are needed. Our goal is $15,000 to carry out the work of the ministry for the glory of God to all people. I ask that you search your heart and pray that God moves you to sow into the Refill Church as we move forward.

As I always say and Motto "IT ONLY WORKS WHEN WE DO IT TOGETHER" help me advance the kingdom of GOD!!!!!!

Thank You and May GOD bless you for your seed Pastor AJae
