Support Pastor Carol Freeney After Church Burglary
Tax deductible
It's been a bit of a bumpy journey since the last year passing of my father, the late Bishop Delano Freeney. My mom, Pastor Carol Freeney, has been holding strong and doing God's will, keeping the church afloat, preaching, and teaching God's word. For many years, she's been an extreme blessing to so many people in the community, from praying to counseling, to teaching, giving food, clothes, furniture, cars, down to the shirt off her back. Now it's time for her to reap the fruits of her labor. As the upkeep on the church and property can get overwhelming sometimes, she's been holding strong, but even the strong get weak.
A recent break-in brought great pain and disappointment, but she still continues to preach God's word. We need the same community she's been serving to lend a hand in return. The recent burglary of the church left significant damage to all the door frames from forced entry that needs updating and repairs. They stole instruments, guitars, computers, even the TV. It's just heartbreaking to see someone stoop so low and damage and ransack a church of God. The disappointment on my mom's face told it all, as if she can't catch a break.
As a son that helps as far as I can, we need your help so we can reach our goal to update, repair, and renovate, and better secure what was all damaged and give my mom, Pastor Carol Freeney, a sigh of relief. To know God has her back. As a handyman for over 12 years, I'm very skillful to rebuild and repair what was damaged and upgrade and secure the property day and night. I won't stop till it's done. Every dime will go back into this church to pour into my mom and dad's legacy. The journey to rebuild will be public and very much visible to see. Please give what you can; it will be greatly appreciated as we strive to reach our goals. Thank you all, and may God bless you all. Happy giving.
